Puff pastry: 600 g (21 oz)
Egg: 1 pc
Sugar: 80 g (2.8 oz)
Vanilla sugar: 10 g (0.4 oz)
Starch: 50 g (1.8 oz)
Milk: 400 ml (14 fl oz)
Butter: 50 g (1.8 oz)
Apples: 2 pcs
Sugar: 50 g (1.8 oz)
Cinnamon: 2 g (0.1 oz)
Instructions:
Prepare the apples: Peel, core, and slice the apples into thin slices. In a pan, cook the apples with 50 g sugar and cinnamon until softened. Set aside to cool.
Make the creamy filling: In a saucepan, whisk together the egg, 80 g sugar, vanilla sugar, starch, and milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and stir in the butter until smooth.
