Ingredients:
300g cauliflower
4 slices of ham
Grated Gruyère cheese
25g butter
20g flour
30cl milk
Salt, pepper
Parsley
Preparation:
Cut the cauliflower into florets, wash, and drain them. Cook in boiling water for 15 minutes.
Place them in a bowl, season with a little salt and pepper, and set aside.
Prepare the béchamel sauce:
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Once melted, add the flour and mix well.
Gradually add the milk while stirring, and let it thicken for a few minutes over the heat.
Season with salt and pepper.
Lay the slices of ham flat and spread a spoonful of béchamel on each.
Top the béchamel with some cauliflower florets.
Fold the slices of ham over the filling.
Pour a couple of ladles of béchamel sauce into the bottom of a dish.
Arrange the ham rolls with cauliflower on top.
Spread another layer of béchamel sauce over each ham roll.
Sprinkle with grated Gruyère cheese and bake for 25 minutes at 200°C without preheating the oven.
Garnish with a bit of chopped fresh parsley
before serving.
