Taco Ranch Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (1-oz) package taco seasoning
  • 1 (10-oz) can diced tomatoes and green chiles, undrained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8-oz) bottle ranch dressing
  • 5 (15-count) frozen phyllo tart shells

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF to get it ready for making these tasty bites.
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until it’s no longer pink. Make sure to drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the taco seasoning and diced tomatoes with green chiles to the cooked ground beef. Stir well and let it simmer for an additional 5 minutes. Then, remove it from the heat.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, and the taco meat mixture, making sure everything is well mixed.
  5. Spoon the taco meat mixture into each frozen phyllo tart shell, distributing it evenly among them.
  6. Arrange the filled tart shells on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake the Taco Ranch Bites in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly. If baking from frozen, add an extra 2-3 minutes.
  8. Once baked, remove the Taco Ranch Bites from the oven and serve them warm.
  9. Enjoy these flavorful bites as an appetizer or a satisfying snack for any occasion!
